Innovative and technological
Structurally Insulated Panel (SIP) is a durable, modern building material consisting of two enclosing boards with insulation between them.
Pirin Konstrakt uses high-quality magnesite board from the world’s leading manufacturers as the main envelope.
Multifunctional magnesite board is a very durable, non-combustible, moisture-resistant and eco-friendly material. It is based on magnesium chloride and oxide, which, when reacting, form Sorel cement — a substance with a cubic crystal lattice that significantly exceeds the strength characteristics of Portland cement.
The filler of magnesite board includes:
- ✓ Fumed perlite – natural thermal and acoustic insulation, compositionally similar to volcanic sand.
- ✓ Fine wood sawdust – provides additional plasticity to the magnesite sheet.
- ✓ Reinforcement layers – each side of the board is reinforced with a non-woven cotton layer and basalt fibre glass mesh for strength.

- ✓ Lightness: Density of 0.88–1.07 g/cm³, easy to install
- ✓ Durability: Shock-resistant, low deformation under moisture, heat or dryness, long-lasting operation
- ✓ Sound insulation: 29 dB at 6 mm thickness
- ✓ Thermal insulation: Coefficient 0.216 W/m²
- ✓ Frost resistance: More than 70 cycles, retains properties down to −40 °C, suitable for freezers, dimensional stability
- ✓ Environmentally friendly: Free of asbestos, formaldehyde and other harmful substances. Safe for people and animals
- ✓ Antisepticity: Prevents fungus, mould, insect damage. Easy to process without special tools or equipment
